Privacy policy
Last updated 14 October 2026
This policy explains how maidagency.net ("we") handles personal data under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). It is a general statement and should be reviewed by a lawyer before you rely on it.
What we collect
- Agency applications: when an agency applies on the Join page we collect the agency name, MOM licence number, UEN, description, WhatsApp number and the choice of promotion, plus the IP address used to send the request.
- Visitors: our servers keep standard logs (IP address, pages requested, browser type, date and time) to run and protect the site.
- Cookies: the Join page sets a session cookie to protect the form from abuse. It is deleted when you close your browser.
Agency profile pages show business information that agencies and MOM make public (names, licence numbers, business addresses, business phone numbers and emails). We do not collect personal data about families who browse the directory.
How we use it
We use application details to check the licence, contact the agency on WhatsApp, build the agency's page and manage promotions. We use server logs for security, troubleshooting and understanding traffic.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that host and run the site, and when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Application details are kept while the application is active and for a reasonable period afterwards. Server logs are kept for a limited time and then deleted.
Your choices
You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or withdraw consent to its use, by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Security
We protect our admin systems with passwords, access limits and encrypted connections. No system is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive documents through the Join form.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
